Roulette is of French origin and was first played in New Orleans. Roulette is a game of chance, and there is no way of cheating at roulette to increase the odds in your favour. If you are playing at a roulette table with a 5 dollar minimum, you are required to place 5 dollars on each of your outside bets, and-or a total of at least 5 dollars on your inside bets. If you play black-red, odd/even or high-low, you must place the roulette table minimum for each and every bet. The zero and double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly distributed. The roulette chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino, so do not bother trying to stack them under your blackjack chips or anything foolish like that. The roulette dealer will exchange your chips for regular chips when you are done playing. If the dreaded 00 is spun, the House keeps all the bets. Unlike other casino games, roulette rounds go by quickly - just a spin of the wheel and the game is over. After all payoffs have been made, the Dealer will announce "Place your bets. " You may place roulette bets on the spin until the Dealer announces "No more bets". You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table. When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
