Traditionally roulette has been played in regular offline casinos. Roulette uses a special wheel, a betting layout, and chips. A European roulette wheel has the numbers 1-36, plus a slot for zero. Before you can place your bet on a roulette table you first have to get special roulette chips from the dealer at the table. The zero and double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly distributed. All roulette players place their bets. The dealer spins the roulette wheel in one direction and the small ball in the opposite one. In roulette you can place bets until the ball leaves the track and falls onto the spun wheel. The winning roulette number is marked by the Dealer. After the roulette wheel stops the dealer will then mark the winning number on the betting area and the bets are paid accordingly. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table. When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
