. Roulette is a unique table game as it has a mechanical device as the main element of the
game.
The Roulette wheels in America have a green zero and double zero, giving the American casinos the twice house edge. Roulette players can bet on one, two, three, four or six numbers; or they can choose to bet red or black; high or low; odd or even. On both
wheels, you may think that there is no rhyme or reason as to how the numbers are
arranged, but there is; the numbers are arranged this way so that the odds of
landing on high, odd, low or even numbers are evenly distributed. The wheel determines the outcome of a roulette game. After all bets are placed, the roulette Dealer spins the wheel in one direction and the
ball in the opposite direction. In roulette you can place bets until the ball leaves the track and falls onto the spun wheel. When you get your roulette chips they will not be marked with a denomination, you choose it, and all of the chips will reflect that worth - the dealer keeps track
of that by associating the amount and color with a 'lammer'. Roulette does not move at a quick pace, it is for a more relaxed crowd than you are likely to find at the
craps table. After all payoffs have been made, the Dealer will announce "Place your bets. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier. |
