Roulette is a glamorous and exciting game that's easy to play. The United States adopted their own version of roulette, but the French version is still played time to time in Las Vegas. The American version of roulette has a single zero and a double zero versus the French version with just a single zero. Roulette players often choose the bets they like to make and stick with them for a series of spins. The ball stops in one of the numbered pockets of the Roulette wheel. Each roulette player is assigned different color of chip, allowing the dealer differentiate bets and match them to the right players. When all bets are placed, the croupier spins the wheel and a ball bounces from slot to slot until finally coming to rest in one of them. Once the bets have been placed on the roulette table, the wheel starts spinning and a small ball is released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. When the roulette ball comes to rest in one of the slots, the dealer will call out the winning number and settle all bets. Once the roulette ball has found its slot, the dealer will call out the winning number and place a marker on that number's spot on the layout. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table. When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
